The CCIPR with a delegation of some board members took part – at the invitation of Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă – in the summit organized yesterday in Bucharest, on Romania’s accession to the OECD.
During the conference, President Roberto Musneci spoke and made the position of the Chamber of Commerce public, shared with the Embassy of Italy in Bucharest: “Romania’s accession to the OECD would represent a strategic turning point for the Italian and non-Italian companies. Since one of the 5 main chapters is related to public governance, it is appropriate at this very important stage to know in detail the ongoing process to continue reinforcing the network of Regulatory authorities whose impartiality and independence is paramount to maintain and increase investors confidence and capture the many opportunities of OECD accession.
La CCIPR con una delegazione di alcuni membri del board ha preso parte – su invito del Primo Ministro Nicolae Ciucă- al summit che si è svolto ieri a Bucarest, sull’adesione della Romania all’OCSE.
Durante i lavori è intervenuto il Presidente Roberto Musneci il quale ha reso pubblica l’opinione della Camera di commercio, condivisa con l’Ambasciata d’Italia a Bucarest : “ L’adesione all’OCSE da parte della Romania rappresenterebbe uno snodo strategico per le imprese italiane e non. Poiché uno dei 5 capitoli principali è correlato alla governance pubblica, è opportuno in questa fase così importante conoscere in dettaglio il processo in atto volto a mantenere e rafforzare il networking delle Autorità regolatorie la cui imparzialità ed indipendenza è fondamentale per mantenere e aumentare la fiducia degli investitori e cogliere le numerose opportunità offerte dall’adesione all’OCSE”.
