The Italian Chamber of Commerce for Romania (CCIpR) was established in 1994 as an association under Romanian law. It was officially recognized by the Italian Government with a Ministerial Decree of 19 April 2005 under law 518 of 1970 and operates in constant collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Bucharest. CCIpR is headquartered in Bucharest and has branches in Arad, Cluj, and Timisoara. In 2021 it activated operational desks in Florence and Trieste.
The main goals of the CCIpR are to encourage the development of trade between Romania and Italy and cooperation between investors from the two countries, providing information and assistance in internationalization processes.
