Who We Are


The Italian Chamber of Commerce for Romania (CCIpR) was established in 1994 as an association under Romanian law. It was officially recognized by the Italian Government with a Ministerial Decree of 19 April 2005 under law 518 of 1970 and operates in constant collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Bucharest. CCIpR is headquartered in Bucharest and has branches in Arad, Cluj, and Timisoara. In 2021 it activated operational desks in Florence and Trieste.


The main goals of the CCIpR are to encourage the development of trade between Romania and Italy and cooperation between investors from the two countries, providing information and assistance in internationalization processes.

What We Do Best

Lobby And Support

The main objectives of the CCIpR are the development of commercial relations between Italy and Romania, especially because of the promotion and sale of Italian products and services in Romania, as well as the support of the collective interests of its members through advocacy actions towards the Authorities Romanian.

Networking And Promotion

CCIpR accompanies companies in their entrepreneurial journeys through a series of tools such as seminars, 828 meetings, country presentations, networking and business-matching events, and customized assistance.


One of the fundamental roles of the CCIpR is to monitor sectoral dynamics and to bring to the attention of Italian companies the industries with the greatest growth in the medium-long term.
