President Musneci took part in the FOOD SUMMIT in Bucharest, ahead of the Italian Cousine Week. Romanian agricultural sustainability and tax issues were discussed, highlighting the crucial role of agribusiness in national development, as exemplified by Italy. Thanks to Prof. Emeritus Valeriu Tabara for his valuable contribution.
Our President Roberto Musneci spoke at the sixth FOOD SUMMIT held on Thursday 12 and Friday 13, at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Forestry in Bucharest.
Perfect timing given the approach of Italian Food Week next November, promoted worldwide by our diplomatic network with the support of the foreign chamber system.
In addition to the issues of the sustainability of Romanian agricultural production, its availability and quality according to the statistical indicators presented, important tax issues relating to the agricultural sector and SMEs were also discussed.
In addition to profit growth through management and tax optimization, our chamber wanted to emphasize how the agro-industrial system can be central to the development of the country system. Agro-industry and food are in fact, as the Italian case shows, also drivers for tourism, health, and culture in general. This is the strategic reason why Italy makes constant efforts to promote the culture of Italian cuisine and the agro-industrial system.
The remarks were a source of much discussion on the sidelines of the conference.

Thanks again to the organizers and to Prof. Emeritus Valeriu Tabara, President of the Academy of Agricultural and Silvic Sciences and former Minister of Agriculture, the true spirit of the event.
