The CCIPR with a delegation of some board members took part – at the invitation of Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă – in the summit organized yesterday in Bucharest, on Romania’s accession to the OECD.
During the conference, President Roberto Musneci spoke and made the position of the Chamber of Commerce public, shared with the Embassy of Italy in Bucharest: “Romania’s accession to the OECD would represent a strategic turning point for the Italian and non-Italian companies. Since one of the 5 main chapters is related to public governance, it is appropriate at this very important stage to know in detail the ongoing process to continue reinforcing the network of Regulatory authorities whose impartiality and independence is paramount to maintain and increase investors confidence and capture the many opportunities of OECD accession".
