ERASMUS + : FOLLOW US
The main objective of the project is to address two particularly current social issues, the consequences of which have been exacerbated and highlighted by the recent global health crisis:
- The growing number of NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) young people who have completed or abandoned their education cycle and, due to a lack of prospects, have given up on seeking employment or a training program that could lead them to become active members of society.
- The lack of digital skills that afflict many of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that make up our production system. These businesses have been particularly affected by the recent economic crisis and are currently unable to exploit the commercial opportunities arising from the use of digital technologies applied to marketing and sales.
In order to provide a concrete and effective solution to these problems, the Follow Us project (funded by the European Erasmus+ platform) aims to leverage the digital and personal skills of NEET young people, applying them practically to the service of SMEs that do not yet have an effective digital presence. This provides the former with a tangible opportunity for social reintegration and the latter with the support and skills necessary to embark on the digital transition, which is now essential for SMEs to remain competitive in an increasingly integrated market.
