35th World Convention of the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad (CCIE)

The Italian Chamber of Commerce for Romania (CCIPR) took part in the 35th World Convention of the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad (CCIE), the main annual event of the CCIE network, which brought together in Genoa 86 Chambers from 64 countries, alongside representatives of institutions, the business community, and the Made in Italy system.

Representing CCIPR was Secretary General Giovanni Pometti, who participated in discussions focused on the future of internationalization, the strengthening of the Chamber network, and the development of new initiatives aimed at supporting Italian companies operating abroad.

The Convention provided an important opportunity to exchange experiences, strengthen relationships, and explore the opportunities offered by international markets. Among the most significant moments were the associative meetings of Assocamerestero, discussions with national institutions, and meetings with companies from the Liguria region.

During the seminar dedicated to the dialogue between institutions and the business community, Eng. Giovanni Villabruna of Ansaldo Nucleare also took part. Ansaldo Nucleare, a historic industrial company from Liguria, has been present in Romania for many years and is among the founding companies of our Chamber of Commerce. His contribution highlighted the value of the long-standing economic ties between Italy and Romania and the important role that Italian companies continue to play in fostering economic cooperation between the two countries.

Participation in the Convention reaffirms CCIPR’s commitment to strengthening the economic bridge between Italy and Romania by promoting business opportunities, investment, and collaboration within the international network of Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad.
