Tradition 4.0: Industry, People, and Knowledge in a Changing World

The Italian Chamber of Commerce for Romania, in collaboration with VARD Shipyards Romania, organized the event “Tradition 4.0: Industry, People, and Knowledge in a Changing World” at the Brăila shipyard — an important forum dedicated to the evolution of the industrial sector, considering the increasingly significant impact of digitalization on production processes.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to VARD Shipyards Romania for their kind hospitality, and in particular to the Brăila Shipyard Director, Ms. Simona-Alina Puia, Claudio Taboga (General Manager of VARD Shipyards Romania), Dr. Salvatore Savinelli (SVP HR & Organization VARD Group and member of the Board of our Chamber of Commerce), and Dr. Antonio Serao (HR Vice President VARD Shipyards Romania) for their active involvement and support.

Our gratitude also goes to all the speakers who contributed to the discussion with high-level interventions, offering valuable insights during the event, which was moderated by Avv. Pasquale Silvestro, Vice President of CCIPR.

The event was further enriched by the opportunity to visit the shipyard and observe firsthand the construction stages of a ship — a tangible demonstration of industrial excellence combining tradition and innovation.

CCIPR will continue to promote initiatives aimed at fostering dialogue among businesses, institutions, and local communities, contributing to the development of synergies and growth opportunities.
