On June 26 in Padua, the conference “Beyond Borders: Energy and Infrastructure Looking East” was held, hosted by Tonucci & Partners under the patronage of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Romania (CCIpR) and with Corriere del Veneto as media partner.
A strategic event that featured the participation of Avv. Pasquale Silvestro, Vice President of CCIPR, and Adina Lovin, Consul General of Romania in Trieste, in a high-level discussion on investment opportunities in Southeastern Europe—particularly in Romania, which today stands as a dynamic hub for energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing.
Avv. Silvestro explored tools and scenarios for the internationalization of Italian companies, while Consul Lovin highlighted the favorable context Romania offers to investors: stability, economic growth, and strong ties with Italy.
Among key business testimonies, Maschio Gaspardo S.p.A.—a CCIPR member and board participant—spoke through its President Mirco Maschio, sharing the company’s success story in Romania, where it has operated since 2003 with a production plant in Arad.
Also speaking was Intercantieri Vittadello S.p.A., involved in major infrastructure projects in Romania, along with academics and geopolitical experts.
CCIPR continues to promote dialogue between businesses and institutions, fostering new economic connections between Italy and Romania in sectors strategic to Europe’s development.
