The first of the two weeks in Romania of the School–Work Training Programme promoted and organised by the Camera di Commercio Italiana per la Romania (CCIPR) in support of the IIS Ponti di Gallarate has successfully concluded, within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) – Ministerial Decree 88/2025.
The initiative, coordinated by CCIPR as a facilitating body between the education system and the business community, was structured around an integrated programme of company visits and training activities, offering students a well-organised opportunity for direct engagement with the Italian business ecosystem operating in Romania.
During the week, the delegation met with leading companies including VARD, Walter Tosto S.p.A., Termene.ro, Crowe Romania, Ascent Group and Targa Telematics Romania, gaining insights into organisational models, production processes, technological innovation and internationalisation strategies.
The project forms part of a broader internationalisation pathway in education, aimed at developing professional, linguistic and transversal competences, with particular attention to STEM disciplines and multilingualism, in line with the objectives of the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan and European cooperation strategies.
The PNRR, School–Work Training and European cooperation represent concrete tools to strengthen the link between education and business within an international dimension.
CCIPR played a central role in the project’s design, institutional coordination and activation of the entrepreneurial network, reaffirming its position as a strategic bridge between Italy and Romania and as a promoter of high value-added training pathways for young people and for the productive system.
